Welcome to Year 3 (Sept 2021)
On behalf of the whole team here at CVJS, I would like to welcome you all to our school. We very much look forward to seeing you in person as soon as we can. For now, I hope that you find the following information useful as we look at preparing your child to join us for the start of Year 3 in September 2021.
Over the coming weeks, we will upload this page and the videos accordingly. If you would like to find out anything else about us, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be more than happy to help.

An introduction to our school
We've put together a video tour of the school for you. Although not the same as being here in person, we hope that it gives you a flavour of what the school looks like and what facilities we have on site.
Say hello to the teachers and teaching assistants who will be working with your children in September.
This document will provide you with an overview of life at Churchdown Village Junior School. You will be able to find out about our staff, the school day, our curriculum and all about our daily routines. This will be your go to document in the build up to the start of the new academic year.
Do you want to see what life is like for the children at Churchdown Village Junior School? Watch this short film to find out. This video is made up of pictures published on the school's Twitter feed (@cvjschool), so it really is a chance to see 'a year in the life of CVJS'.
Our virtual parent information meeting
Although not quite the same as being in the school hall hearing things first hand, our Virtual Parents' Meeting will give you the opportunity to see our introductory presentation in the comfort of your own home. You can find out more about the school day, our expectations and our curriculum. Once we are fully back in the autumn term, we will hold a meeting in school for you.
These are the slides that we would have shown you if we were able to meet together during the summer term.
